Hey there! I have gathered up all the info I can share to help you put together the details for your elopement! As promised I listed a few places I know of to get dresses for such an occasion. I hope it helps! I also went through the options we talked about for location. I looked into specifics on wear, within each park, we could go.
Dresses
Still White: This is a resale site for actual wedding dresses! Only worn once, majorly discounted, with a safe regulated site to purchase from.
Yewen: These dresses are made for photoshoots! They are not your "wear out everyday" type of dress. They've been made specifically to create eye catching, glamorous photos.
Joyfolie: Bohemian, vintage vibes gowns that are perfect for getting in the water!
ShowPo: A variety of non-traditional choices here!
ASOS: HUGE variety of dresses and price points with a lot of unique options. You have to search around and narrow it down with key words like "long boho gown" etc.
Filiboo: Romantic, shabby chic, one of a kind, and very unique!
Below are places for little girls dresses!!
When finalizing location...
Research how far your ideal spot it from parking, and how easy or challenging the hike there will be. Also keep in mind that you will want to try and plan for near sunrise or sunset because of other foot traffic.
Ohiopyle
We know it, we love it. We can do both stand on wide open rock faces (top of Cucumber falls) and go down to play in the waterfall (bottom of cucumber falls) all within minutes of each other.
McConnel Mill
This one has variety! There are so many places you can get to easily. You could do both Cleland Rock for your vows then drive over to Hells Hollow falls for more photos ( you do have to walk down A LOT of steps) We could also look into going down along the river if you're interested in that.
Cooper's Rock
This has a STUNNING overlook if you wanted to have a mountain top photoshoot. There are 2 mountaintop views The Coopers rock overlook is easy to access from the main parking lot. Ravens Rock is a moderate hike BUT we could shoot along the way and the actual overlook is beyond amazing. The waterfall, sadly, is too big to get in.
